Filipino American Media Association of Nevada President Johann Sayson met with Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo and was able to discuss the organization’s mission and advocacies. Sonny Vinuya, an active Fil-Am media practitioner-host of PHLV Radio and FilAmTV Network program Let’s Talk Business, is the Southern Nevada Outreach Coordinator of the Office of the Governor.
The Filipino American Media Association of Nevada (FAMAN) represents Fil-Am media practitioners and media outlets in Nevada. It supports the state governance in the spirit of open communication and valuable stream of information, both ways. It is the desire of this organization to express to the Honorable Governor of the great State of Nevada its support of platforms and programs that help the Filipino American community. Further, the organization is seeking recognition and any fundamental support that the state governance can extend so that its service goals are met.
